Realistic-sounding Disclaimer

The author disclaims all warranties, either express or implied including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. The author shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, lost profits or information, business interruption, or other pecuniary loss, even if the author has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you. If this is the case for you, it does not entitle you to take advantage of that fact. So don't.

Or, in the words of Shogun...
The Legal Mumbo-Jumbo:

Everything that's trademarked and copyrighted belongs to its respective owners - I won't even bother guessing what belongs to whom and whom belongs to what company, because if I'm wrong I smell a lawsuit. I didn't put any TMs or ©'s unless I was sure it belonged to somebody. If any of the respective owners have *any* problems with this, just tell me before your lawyer, tell me what to do, and I'll fix it.

As well as all that...

I would like to add that any actions you may or may not take as a result (direct, indirect or otherwise) of reading, hearing being read, hearing about, (or any other form of communication) any data that is contained in this website, in whole or in part, is your own responsibility. I can not and will not be held responsibile for any data loss due to anything I have stated, suggested, implied, insinuated or refered to on this site. I can not be held responsible for time lost due to playing computer games; it was your fault for buying the thing and searching the web until you found this wonderful page. I refuse to take any responsibility in spoiling people's fun, ruining surprises or revealing plots of a computer game. You download any data from this site at your own discretion. Do not read beyond what you want to know.

Also please note that I make no claim that any of the information stored in these pages is in the least bit accurate. Indeed, all of it is highly opinionated, biased and subjective. In fact, not much of it is true. I will reveal at this time that, in fact, while playing Homeworld, you will NOT actually be in control of a fleet of spaceships. Actually, you will merely be positioned near to an electronic device which attempts to generate an audio visual rendering of a simulation of what may, to some, fail to appear to be "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike" control of a fleet of spaceships.

In addition, I cannot (and will not) vouch for the validity of any cheats, cheat codes, unofficial patches, commandline arguments, etc that may or may not be contained on the pages of this site, and definitely not if they are only linked to by this site and are thus Somebody Else's Problem. I do not in any way garuntee that the desired results can be reproduced on your own particular (and unique, I might add) hardware and software configuration. I also cannot help it if you are not skillful enough to follow my walkthrough at the same or higher success rate. But feel not alone, for many there are who do not attain such lofty heights in merely one lifetime. For those who are, and Tom Wörner, you win my respect (or, at least, a little bit of it.)

Within these pages are frequent quotes (and misquotes) from various books which were written by their respecful (and respective) authors. Of note is the Foundation Of Literary Lunacy And Thought, that most excellentest of books, The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy (by Douglas Adams.) All other works (except The Bible) pale in comparison to this book and so shall not get a mention in this paragraph, except to say that I acknowledge they were written and thank the author(s) for publishing their minds' outputStreams... but I cannot be bothered to make a bibliography page yet. If you're energetic and feel that way inclined, make me a list of quotes I have used (and their authors' names) and I'll try to make it the basis of a bibliography page... at some point...

This site contains graphics which were taken from the game 'Homeworld'. I make no claim that they are my own invention and acknowledge that the buttons in the left-hand pane, the 'Homeworld' splashscreen in the top pane and the screenshots scattered throughout the site are generated by software written by Sierra and Relic and thus may be their intellectual property and so ought to be treated as such. The way I see it, this shows that Relic has done a great job producing the game and I am providing free advertisement, publicity, etc. This should in no way be taken as a challenge.
