Mini Disclaimer
These screenshots were taken from Sierra's Homeworld using the inbuilt
screenshot function (press Scroll Lock). If they are the intellectual
property of Sierra Studios Inc and may not be published without Sierra's
prior and written consent, etc. then please refer to Shogun's quote on the
disclaimer page before sueing me.
At certain times, the inbuilt screenshot function was disabled (during any
time when the game engine is not being run; ie a movie) and so I used
Paintshop Pro 5.0's screengrab.
Spoiler Alert
These screenshots were taken by myself while I was playing through
the game. At times, they reveal certain elements of the plot which you
may want to remain oblivious to until you reach that part of the game
yourself. In which case, I recommend you exercise self control and
only look at this page if you do not mind possibly seeing such information.
In most cases, I have a thumbnail graphic, the level it was taken in, a
title (of my own division) and a short description of the shot. The pictures
are not necessarily in level order, however. So look at the level number
before looking at the picture!
Saving Shots
These screenshots were taken at a resolution of 1280x1024 or 1024x768 at 24
bit depth (16M colors) in the default JPEG format. The thumbnails were made
by scaling the originals down and reducing the color depth to save time
loading this page. If you want only to see the thumbnails, look down this
page. If you would like to see a particular picture full-size, click on the
thumbnail. If you want a copy of the thumbnail, right-click it and choose
"Save
File
As..."
If you want a copy of the full-size image, either right-click the thumbnail and choose
"Save
Link Target
As..."
or go to the full-size image you want and choose "Save As..." from the "File" menu.

Level 01
DuneBuggy
The cool buggy sent out into the Great Banded Desert to the buried
spaceShipwreck. Look; it even has cool, squidgy tires!

A Resource Collector doing what it does best.
The R1 Interceptor
in its hangar. Q1: How does the pilot get in? Q2: Why are sections of
the floor missing?
The R2 Interceptor
in its hangar. Why 1439958?
Level 04
Battle of the mothers
If you allow the enemy Mothership to get close enough to your Mothership,
you get to see its pretty lasers as they (slowly) drain your shields.
Level 07
Swarming
Beautiful but deadly
Level 07
Battle over a pin
Nice explosions, though.
Level 08
Missed me
Ion Frigate attempts to pin a Swarmer.
Level 08
Khar Selim's Sister-ship
With a MultiBeam Frigate on guard.
Level 14
Missiles for the Corvettes
Nice explosions, though.
Level 13
Elson's Aliens
When Captain Elson introduces himself, you get a view of a "new hyperspacial
bypass" replete with traffic. I rather like the two aliens behind the bypass
and wondered what significance they held.
Level 13
The Junkyard Dog
The ultimate Salvage Corvette. (Original JPEG file)
Fleet Command
Karan Sjet at her console (what a virtual-reality setup! I want one!)
Voice of Fleet Command
This is not my picture - I obtained it from the Relic site when another
user displayed it there. I will happily give them any credit due it when
I find out who did it. (Anyone know what the 15 means?)
Nice move
Military Parade formation generates some nice effects when the Carrier
rotates.
Level 17
Higaara beach
A scene from the Homeworld.
Level 17
Hiigara forestland
Another scene from the Homeworld. (It looks a bit grey and dreary, no?)
Level 17
Higaaran ¿turbine?
What is this?
"Look at me dancin'"
How do you get them to do this? Or do they just do it automatically when
'Entering holding pattern'?
Level 10
The effect radiation has on Strike Craft
And the enemy is dancing in the background... (Original JPEG file)
Level 15
Headshot Asteroid
Anyone know what this effect is caused by?
